Introducing painter pants from the LAST RESORT series 【Blue Tag】.

 

While this blue tag series is a staple, it's only available once a year in spring due to its lightweight ounce. If it sells out this time, you won't be able to purchase it again for another year. Even those who find jeans too hot in midsummer will likely find these 10.5 oz painter pants comfortable. However, there's a high chance they'll be sold out by the season, so we recommend deciding early if you're considering them.

 

 

Let's take another look at these painter pants.

 

This denim was created by deconstructing a 1940s LEE coverall, analyzing its yarn, and studying the characteristics of vintage fading.

 

 

As a result, we've created a denim with similar vertical fading. This fabric was used to reproduce 1940s House Mark painter pants. We've captured the vintage feel by leaving a little extra fabric at the bottom center of the pockets, characteristic of LEE's work pants, and stitching them straight.

 

 

 

 

The warp threads are woven with slub yarns of three different counts, allowing you to enjoy random vertical fading reminiscent of the era.

 

The weft threads use light gray sulfur dye, creating a deeper hue than regular light-ounce denim, allowing you to enjoy the difference as it fades. Furthermore, a union ticket is sewn on the back of the right back pocket, showcasing our attention to detail.

 

 

The front buttons also feature dome-shaped shanks, further enhancing the vintage feel.

The Rebel Jacket has been a long-standing staple in JELADO's lineup.

To create a simple rider's jacket, we removed the epaulets.

Furthermore, by using cupra instead of quilting, we pursued ease of wear and removal for this piece.

With 1.6mm thick leather and a semi-aniline finish, it offers a softness that 100% pigment doesn't. And since this is "tea-core leather," you can enjoy the aging process as you wear it over time.

These are baker pants made from "Herringbone Twill" fabric, adopted in 1947.

What is Herringbone?

"Herringbone" = "herring (fish)" and "bone"

The pattern is derived from the bone structure seen when a herring fish is filleted.

Baker pants were worn not only on the battlefield but also during indoor work.

It is also said that they were worn by bakers, which is how they got the name "Baker Pants."

Because they are made of herringbone twill, they are thick and durable.

Additionally, since they are 100% cotton, you can enjoy the aging process as you wear them repeatedly.

And this item, which has been available for pre-order for some time, was popular at the 2025 SS preview.

USMC M44 Monkey Pants are pants issued to the Marine Corps, and are popular items in the vintage industry known as "Monkey Pants." The origin of that name is this...

The large, horizontal cargo pockets with flaps.

These large pockets were adopted to hold ponchos, and the flaps were included to prevent contents from falling out.

These pockets resemble the buttocks of a monkey, which is why they are called "Monkey Pants."

The production period for the M44 was actually very short, only 1 year and 3 months, from July 1944 to around October 1945. Also, because they were issued to the "elite few" of the U.S. Marine Corps, the overall production volume was small, making them quite valuable in the vintage market.

The period when the U.S. Marine Corps actually wore them was...

・Battle of Iwo Jima (February 19, 1945 - March 26, 1945)

・Around the Battle of Okinawa (March 26, 1945 - September 7, 1945).

Also, after World War II,

・Korean War (June 25, 1950 - July 27, 1953)

They seem to have been worn extensively during these times.

Jelado's Monkey Pants use herringbone as the material.

Furthermore, they are dyed with vat dyes.

And the buttons are donut buttons, which also creates a vintage feel.
