ついにスカジャンが入荷いたしました!~Flagship Store~

The sukajan jackets have finally arrived! ~Flagship Store~

Thank you for always visiting us.

Today, we would like to introduce a product that many of you have inquired about regarding its arrival.

JELADO USMC Souvenir Jacket 【JP03408】

The Sukajan jacket, a popular series frequently released by JELADO, has arrived.

From our collection of super-rare Sukajan jackets, we have reissued a special pattern different from the previous one.

This time, we have recreated both sides of a Sukajan jacket originally custom-made for a Marine Corps member, a common feature in one-of-a-kind military orders.

Side A features a large squadron embroidery on the back, dragons on both sleeves, and luxurious embroidery not only on both chests but also on the cuffs.

Side B features a special design with Iwo Jima embroidery. This time, the body design has also been completely reproduced, making it a unique rider-style design.

It's a blouson type with cuffs and epaulets, and has adjusters at the waist.

Side A uses custom-dyed 100% cotton velour, while Side B uses rayon satin.

Thick waste cotton is used for the padding, creating a vintage feel and atmosphere.

The quilting on Side B is done by hand, with maximum effort to achieve the same appearance as in the original vintage pieces.

From the body design to the embroidery pattern and coloring, this is the ultimate piece, reproducing the rarest Sukajan with vintage techniques.

Please try it on at the store.

Now, please see the photos of it being worn.

〜USMC M44 Monkey Pants〜

【Reservation Product - Expected Arrival Early March】Monkey Trousers【CT11344】

Speaking of USMC M44 Monkey Pants,

they were trousers issued to the Marine Corps,

and are popular vintage items

known by their nickname "Monkey Pants."

The origin of this name is as follows...

Long, horizontal cargo pockets with flaps.

These large pockets were adopted

to hold ponchos, and the flaps were included

to prevent the contents from falling out.

These pockets resembled a monkey's buttocks,

hence the name "Monkey Pants."

The M44 was manufactured for a very short period,

only "1 year and 3 months,"

from July 1944 to around October 1945.

Furthermore, because they were issued to the

"elite few" of the U.S. Marine Corps,

the overall production volume was low, which is why they fetch

quite high prices in the vintage market.

The periods when the U.S. Marine Corps

actually wore them were...

・Battle of Iwo Jima (February 19 - March 26, 1945)

・Around the Battle of Okinawa (March 26 - September 7, 1945).

Also, after World War II,

・Korean War (June 25, 1950 - July 27, 1953)

They seem to have been widely worn during these times.

JELADO's Monkey Pants

use herringbone fabric for this material.

Furthermore, they are dyed with vat dyes.

And the buttons are doughnut buttons,

adding to the vintage feel.

By wearing them consistently, you can enjoy

their aging over time.

Half-length coats with native patterns, and

leather jackets... even,

coveralls also pair very well,

and I also recommend pairing them with chambray shirts.

Please make your reservations at the store or online.

Thank you.
