After the YouTube video was released, it became so popular that it created a phenomenon where you "couldn't buy it without a reservation." However, production ended with the final shipment in May of this year.

 

And now, five months later, the 41Khaki has been reborn.

 

How has it been reborn?

Similar to Jelado's Last Resort Denim, we cut open a vintage 41Khaki, analyzed it, and produced the fabric from scratch.

 

This is how the new 'Last Resort Chino Cloth' was born.

 

Unlike the previous 41Khaki, Jelado's new 41Khaki delves deeper into vintage authenticity...

 

It uses American Deep South cotton. The unevenness of the threads is neither too strong nor too weak, replicating natural slub yarn.

 

While the previous 41Khaki was dyed with reactive dyes, the new 41Khaki is dyed with vat dyes. Compared to modern reactive dyes, the quality of the dye itself might be lower, but for dyes from around the 1950s, it boasts excellent colorfastness, abrasion resistance, and sun resistance, making it quite a superior dye for its time. It's used for materials requiring toughness, such as workwear and towels.
