this is a stencil pattern of 41Khaki

from Last Resort CHINO CLOTH.

 

It's incredibly rare,

and a popular item.

Wearing samples are available at both stores,

 

but even we staff members "can't buy it without reserving,"

so if you're considering it,

As you wear and wash the 41Khaki stencil repeatedly,

it ages and changes.

The dark stencil it is when purchased

fades with washing, completely changing its look.

The old 41 Khaki was discontinued

with its last shipment in May 2023.

 

To release a new pair of chino pants in its place,

we cut up expensive vintage 41 Khaki pants,

analyzed them, and produced the fabric from scratch.

 

Using American deep South cotton,

we reproduced the natural slub yarn.

 

While the previous 41 Khaki was reactive-dyed,

this 41 Khaki is vat-dyed.

 

The 41 Khaki, made with US cotton, a shuttle loom, and vat dyes,

is finished to preserve the atmosphere and fabric feel of the era.

 

From raw cotton and yarn to weaving and dyeing,

these ultimate chino pants, meticulously crafted in every aspect...

'Last Resort' means

a trump card, a last resort.

If the white tag was the first line of attack,

then the 'Blue Tag' series is the fourth line, following the black tag and brown tag.

 

While the white and black tags focus on LEVI'S,

the brown tag focuses on 41 Khaki...

So what about the blue tag?

 

The blue tag is a collection centered around workwear,

and when it comes to representative workwear,

'Lee' is undoubtedly essential.

 

LAST RESORT 'Blue Tag' focuses

on lightweight denim workwear.

 

Since it's 10.5 oz denim,

unlike the white and black tags, the lighter ounce blue tag

will definitely show a different kind of aging.

 

In that sense,

it's a very exciting series.

Although the base is the same as the "LASTRESORT 41Khaki" that we are currently taking reservations for,

the fabric is different.

 

It is 100% cotton twisted yarn twill fabric.

The warp uses sulfur-dyed twisted yarn, and the weft uses

black sulfur-dyed yarn, resulting in a thick and stiff fabric.

 

Since it's 100% cotton, it will develop a rich patina with wear,

so we hope you enjoy watching its appearance change over time.

 

Since this is produced only once a year, we believe there are customers who have been waiting for it.

Such a long-awaited "41Covert" is finally available for pre-order.

A small quantity of Age of Longing 407EXX was available as free stock in December,

but it sold out in an instant.

 

As you all know, LAST RESORT 'Black Tag'

is the second installment of the Last Resort series,

following the original 'White Tag' released earlier.

 

Compared to the white tag, the black tag is not blue-tinted,

but has a strong black tint to its denim.

 

JELADO categorizes it into early and late 1947 models,

with the white tag, a strongly blue-tinted denim fabric,

placed in the late 1947 model. The 501XX of this era is known as:

 

"The pinnacle of 501XX masterpieces."

The white tag denim fabric focuses on

50s XX fabric.

 

So what about the strongly black-tinted 'Black Tag'?

 

World War II ended in 1945,

and during the war, all Levi's factories were producing

what everyone loves: the 'Wartime Model'.

 

After the war ended, even though material controls were lifted,

it took a considerable amount of time for the details

to return to their original form.

 

The reason is that many of the denim fabrics and sub-materials used in the wartime model

are still available.

 

 LEVI'S denim fabrics also had No. 1 denim to No. 3 denim.

(I only know up to No. 3, but if there's a No. 4 or something, please let me know.)

This refers to the quality of the denim fabric.

 

No. 2 is a cheaper version of No. 1 denim,

and No. 3 is a cheaper version of No. 2 denim.

It's classified that way, but

wasn't the denim fabric used in the wartime model

No. 2 or No. 3 denim?

 

After this denim fabric was used up,

it transitioned to what JELADO calls the "white tag."

The black tag denim corresponds to the transitional period

from the end of the war to the switch in denim fabric.

 

The ounce count is 15 oz,

and we use a highly uneven yarn,

so as it ages with repeated wear,

it will develop vertical fading like falling rain.

 

The best part of denim, without a doubt,

is the "fading."

Fading is essential for "wearing" denim,

and it will be completely different for each person,

so I believe this enjoyment is the greatest appeal of denim.
