The Irish Setter is a Redwing classic, and anyone who likes boots has probably tried on a pair at least once.
This CLASSIC ROUND is an item that pays tribute to the good old style of REDWING.

The last (wooden form) is called "No. 8" and is one of the oldest lasts currently used by Red Wing.
In 1941, this last was combined with the seamless back upper (a design in which both sides of the foot are wrapped in a single piece of leather with no seams at the heel) developed in 1952 and the cushioned sole used in the "Irish Setter" in 1953, and the first product to feature this design was the #766.
The current classic work, the round toe, originated from this #766 and is a boot that inherits most of its details.

The leather is Hawthorne Muleskinner Roughout.
The final step in making the leather is to apply wax and buff it to finish it off.
Compared to other roughout leathers, this leather stands out for its aging appeal.
The sole is made of a soft crepe sole called "Traction Tred".
This is Red Wing's classic sole, a soft, cushioned sole that reduces strain on your feet.
