This is a JELADO original Mexican ring.
Sizes range from 15 to 30.
This ring has a silver base and brass top and sides.
Many vintage items use copper, but copper is not very strong and will easily chip or crack with use, so at Gerard we use brass, which is strong and becomes more beautiful the more you use it.
The devil motif is a rather unusual design, but we created it to represent American lowbrow culture.
The face is painted with acrylic resin.
We hope you will enjoy the subtle changes in tone with use.
As you can see in the picture, there is an owl on the side.
Among Native Americans, owls are revered as prophets who can predict danger, and in Mexico and other countries they are considered a symbol of good fortune that protects homes and families because of their ability to see at night.
The words "JELADO" and "Starry Gate" are also engraved on the back of the ring.
