This is a JELADO original Mexican ring crown.
Sizes range from 15 to 30.
This Mexican ring has a silver base with brass top and sides.
Many vintage items use copper, but copper is not very strong and will easily chip or crack with use, so at Gerard we use brass, which is strong and becomes more beautiful the more you use it.
As you can see in the image, this ring is based on a large crown motif.
In Europe, the crown was used as a symbol of power, but it is also said to be a symbol of success and beauty.
It is one of the motifs that gives strength and brings good luck and success.
The side features a lily pattern.
The lily is used as a symbol of purity in Christianity.
The words "JELADO" and "Starry Gate" are also engraved on the back of the ring.
We used a thick brass base on top of voluminous silver to create a crown that is impactful even with just the design.
