JELADO Mexican Pendant Maria (SG94620)

This is an original JELADO Maria pendant top.
This Mexican ring has a silver base and a brass top.
Many vintage items use copper, but copper is not very strong and will easily chip or crack with use, so at Gerard we use brass, which is strong and becomes more beautiful the more you use it.
This is a Mexican ring with a Virgin Mary motif.
The area around Maria is colored white using melted acrylic resin.
This is the same technique that was used in the original Mexican rings of that time.
The words "JELADO" and "Starry Gate" are also engraved on the back of the ring.
As you can see in the image, the base is slightly larger than the ring overall.
A thick brass base is used on top of the silver, and the skull is designed to have a stronger impact, giving it a more vintage feel.
