We are releasing the new McKinley Pants from the JASIC COLLECTION.
Based on Eddie Bauer's down pants, a classic American casual outdoor item, these have been produced with higher spec quality.
The outer shell is made of 100% nylon Taslan nylon.
A distinctive nylon that resembles the texture of cotton is used to express an old look.
The filling is Primaloft Gold, and its heat retention specifications vary from regular Primaloft to Primaloft Silver and Primaloft Gold, with Gold maintaining 98% of its heat retention when wet.
Gold, which retains most of its heat retention even when wet, is used in many mountain climbing wear and sleeping bags.
Primaloft is a revolutionary ultra-fine microfiber material that is an alternative to down. It is light, warm, and flexible like down, while also possessing water-repellent properties that down does not have.
When climbing, feathers rapidly lose their insulating properties when they get wet because they can no longer retain dead air. However, Primaloft's ultra-fine microfiber material does not lose its insulating properties even when wet, and we have used high-spec padding that is often used in actual mountain climbing equipment.
The hem has a ribbed hem for a clean silhouette, but the pattern allows for easy movement by bending the knees, so we have resized the pants to make them easier to move in than the original version.
While it has a classic vintage style look, it also has high-spec functionality making it the ultimate heritage outdoor wear.
