Engineers Fleece released.
Inspired by photographs of workers from the 1940s, we released a sweatshirt cardigan called ENGNEERS FLEECE.
This is a reproduction of the salt-and-pepper cardigan from the 40s, which was developed as sportswear at the time.
The fabric is 100% cotton sweatshirt fabric made on a loopwheel knitting machine.
The fabric is thick and soft, with a brushed back.
The piqué fabric known as "zakuzaku" at the placket and pocket openings has also been reproduced by knitting on a loopwheel knitting machine.
The sleeve ribbing is also made using twisted heathered knitting to recreate the look.
The buttons are patterned urea buttons.
The silhouette is longer than the vintage version and has a sleeker fit.
A sweatshirt cardigan that can be worn in balance with innerwear such as T-shirts and shirts.
This is a versatile item that can be worn as an inner layer under a jacket or as a spring and autumn outerwear, and can be used in a wide range of outfits.
