As it became difficult to secure sheepskin, and cost and weight were reviewed, cotton was used for the outer shell, and down, which is lightweight and has excellent heat retention, was adopted as the insulation material for the quilted lining.\u003cbr\u003eIn the 1950s, many civilian versions of this model were offered by store brands. Based on these civilian B-9s, we created the ultimate civilian model, updated to high specifications.\u003cbr\u003eThe outer shell uses heavy deck pique, and the liner uses smooth cupra, filled with batting and quilted to enhance heat retention.\u003cbr\u003ePrimaloft Gold is used for the inner, updating it as a jacket capable of handling extreme cold weather.\u003cbr\u003eThe fur on the hood is acrylic.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe custom print image is that of a park ranger's uniform for a private company contracted to manage the riverbanks of the Red River, which flows along the border of North Dakota and Minnesota in the northern United States.
